project i made for an interactive devices class. this interactive sculpture relies on an Arduino r4 mini board to active a relay switch upon the press of the button. the relay switch allows an electrical current to pass through, bringing power to an aquarium water pump. the pump than pushes air into the petri dish that contains a mixture of water and bioplastic. the disruption of water erodes the bioplastic over time, giving the viewer the choice to disrupt or let the implied experiment carry on.
